AN ANIMAL charity is calling out for feline lovers to find a home for a ten-year-old cat who has been homeless for eight months.
Jess is currently at the Blue Cross centre in Thirsk.
Amy Younger, Blue Cross animal welfare assistant, said: "Jess is such a pretty cat we don't know why she has been left on the shelf. She is quite an independent lady but has lots of love to give. She will climb onto a cosy lap for a bit of fuss but most of all she likes to explore the great outdoors. We hope she will have a garden to play in really soon." Jess is a long-haired black and white cat who doesn't mind being left alone all day so long as she can play outside.
