AFTERNOON TEA: The Butterwick Hospice will hold a ladies afternoon tea at Auckland Castle in Bishop Auckland on Wednesday, March 26, starting at 1.30pm. EPILEPSY FUNDRAISER: A night of entertainment will be held at the Belvedere Club in Bishop Auckland on Saturday, March 8, to raise funds for Epilepsy Action and the Children’s Foundation. Comedian Jimmy Moore will perform as will the band Working Class. The event starts at 7pm and children are welcome. Tickets cost £3 on the door or from Stacey Dixon on 07935-818206.
