BROWNIES and Girl Guides enjoyed a sleepover and activity weekend to celebrate international friendship as part of World Thinking Day.
Members of the Thirsk and Easingwold units of Girlguiding Hambleton Division stayed at the Galtres Centre in Easingwold to take part in activities based on Mexico, India, Switzerland and England, the four countries where the four Girlguiding world centres are based.
The event ended with a renewal of the Girlguiding promise, with most girls using the new wording of the promise for the first time.
