TWO signed football shirts were stolen when burglars broke into a house garage.
It happened between 12.15am and 5pm on Friday, February 7, at Thomas Hawksley Park in Sunderland.
A Sunderland AFC 2001 home top signed by former manager Roy Keane, was removed from its frame.
A green Republic of Ireland football shirt signed by both Roy Keane and club legend Niall Quinn was stolen with a black frame, which has a rectangular brass plaque with the two names at the bottom.
Also stolen was a grey and red B&Q drill and a blue and silver Giant Expression bike.
Police are appealing for witnesses - or anyone offered the football shirts for sale – to call them. They should call Northumbria Police on 101, extension 69191, quoting reference 1318 07/02/14, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
