STUDENTS and their families gathered to celebrate their academic achievements at a graduation ceremony.
The joint Teesside University and Darlington College event took place at the university’s Darlington campus yesterday, where hundreds of undergraduates were honoured.
Degrees for subjects including education studies and business management and foundation degrees in journalism, computing and hospitality management were among those being handed out.
A number of people were also recognised after achieving Darlington College Higher Level professional qualifications.
In attendance at the ceremony were Teesside University’s vice-chancellor Professor Graham Henderson, Darlington College principal Tim Grant and the Mayor of Darlington, Charles Johnson.
Prof Henderson praised the graduates and paid tribute to their families and friends for the support they offered during their academic careers,
