FIREFIGHTERS helped to rescue an injured walker this afternoon. (SUNDAY)
The unnamed man suffered a leg injury while walking in Holwick, in Middleton-in-Teesdale, County Durham, at around lunchtime.
Members of County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service helped transport the injured man to an ambulance, which took him to hospital for treatment.
