TRAIN passengers travelling on the East Coast line are facing lengthy delays this afternoon (Friday February 7).
The delays, which affected East Coast and Grand Central services, were attributed to problems with an overhead power line between Peterborough and London Kings Cross.
A spokesman from East Coast said workers were attempting to open a single line past the location of the problem.
It is hoped that line will be opened by around 4pm.
Passengers are advised to check for updates before travelling.
