THE English Democrats have named their prospective lead candidate for this year’s European elections in the North-East.
It is Kevin Riddiough, who lives in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, but is the party’s North East area chairman and events director.
The 48-year-old is married to Jayne and has run his own building business.
The English Democrats want an English parliament to be established.
This year’s UK elections for the European Parliament will be held on Thursday, May 22.
The North-East currently has one Labour MEP, one Conservative and one Liberal Democrat.
