SUSPECTED heroin worth £1,400 was recovered following a police raid on a house in Stockton.
Officers executed a drugs warrant at the address on Camden Street at about 1.35pm on Wednesday (February 5).
The operation was carried out after members of the local community passed on information to the authorities.
Two men aged 22 and 24 and a 33-year-old woman have since been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Detective Sergeant Nigel McCartney, from the Community Drugs Enforcement Team, said: “This drugs warrant was executed as a direct result of community intelligence and stands as an example that we always act on information which is passed to us.
“Any one with information on drugs activity in their area can call our confidential freephone number on 0800-0929702.”
