AN evening of comedy takes place in Barnard Castle on Saturday.
The Funny Way To Be comedy club presents Andrew O’Neill, Paul F Taylor and Tommy Rowson, at The Witham, on Horsemarket, at 8pm.
Alfie Joey, from the BBC sitcom Hebburn, will MC the event.

FRENCH FURNITURE: Patrick Dingwall, of Sotheby's, who runs an antique restoration business in North Yorkshire, will talk about the exquisite qualities of French furniture and the challenge of working on pieces by craftsmen such as Andre Boulle, at the Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle.
