POLICE have issued a fresh plea for information about a brick-throwing incident last month.
On Monday, January 6, at about 8.10pm, two young men threw a brick through the passenger side door window of a white LDV minibus, in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
The vehicle was approaching the traffic lights on the A167 at the junction of Central Avenue when the offenders struck.
Luckily, the minibus driver escaped uninjured and there were no passengers on board the vehicle at the time.
A police spokesman said: “This incident has resulted in damage to the minibus window but it could have been much more serious and could have resulted in serious injury.”
Anyone who witness the incident or can offer any information about the men responsible should contact Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Police Team on 101, quoting incident number DHM-06012014-0360.
