JEWELLERY was stolen in a burglary at an address in Stockton last week.
Police are appealing for information after the burglary on Newstead Avenue in Bishopsgarth between the mornings of Tuesday January 28 and Thursday January 30.
A woman’s gold ring with an engraved cross heath design and a Half Hunter gold pocket watch were among the items stolen.
Cleveland Police said they wanted to remind local residents to be vigilant and take extra care to ensure their homes were secure, and not to leave door or window keys in locks, of within reach to would-be burglars.
Anyone who might have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area or anyone with information regarding the stolen items is asked to contact DC Will Galloway from Stockton Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
