NORTH-East children will join thousands from across the country for a mass concert tomorrow (Wednesday, February 5).
Thirty-five pupils from Durham Free School will be part of a 4,000-strong Young Voices choir concert at the MEN Arena, in Manchester.
There will be pop songs, show tunes, spiritual music, rap and folk.
The Durham youngsters have been in rehearsals since October.
Headteacher Peter Cantley said: “The children have worked exceptionally hard to learn an amazing array of songs and lyrics and they’re very excited to be joining Young Voices.
“It’s going to be a long day but being among a choir of 4,000 in such a spectacular setting will be a life-changing experience for them as well as those who are able to attend the concert.”
