PEOPLE aged between 45 and 74 in the Stockton area can receive a free health check.
A team of healthcare workers will be at Stockton Town Hall on Tuesday, January 23, between 9.30am and 12.30pm and from 2pm to 4pm, and on Thursday, January 25, at the same times.
Checks on offer will include blood pressure, weight against height and waist, cholesterol, blood glucose levels and heart disease risk assessments.
The Stockton Health 4Life team will also provide advice on general health issues and the opportunity to join smoking cessation, weight management and exercise programmes.
Councillor Ann Cains, Stockton Borough Council's cabinet member for adult services and health, said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to come along and have their health checked on a number of vital points.
