A NEW literary super-sleuth team has earned a host of gifts.
Police in Stockton challenged a local school to create an imaginative and interesting detective story.
PC Sarah Troy, who gave the challenge to the year six pupils at Holy Trinity Rosehill School, Fairfield, said: "We were looking for two stories which best capture the imagination.
"It could have been delivered in a humorous or innovative way, portray a topical event or contain an underlying moral in the story."
The winners, Gregory Lonsdale and Abigail Boyd, both 11, picked up a £20 book token along with five free swimming sessions and five free ice skating sessions.
