A DISQUALIFIED greyhound trainer's contact details will be removed from a website belonging to one of the region's dog racing tracks.
The Northern Echo reported yesterday how Carole Allen and her assistant and husband, Michael, breached National Greyhound Racing Club (NGRC) rules by concealing the circumstances of the death of one of their greyhounds, King Euro.
The couple, from Easington, County Durham, were fined and banned from NGRC licensed tracks, including at Newcastle Brough Park, where they previously raced.
Yesterday, it emerged Mrs Allen's contact details had remained on the stadium's website. It was despite Brough Park previously saying that Mrs Allen had parted company with the track.
David Hood, of William Hill, which owns the track, said: "This was an oversight and will be being looked into."
The Allens also admitted other NGRC charges, including failing to keep a "kennel book", which details the status and whereabouts of greyhounds, and keeping their animals at a location other than authorised by the NGRC.
It is thought they could at some stage reapply for their training licenses.
