MUSEUM staff are appealing for help to stock an exhibition on household goods from yesteryear.
The World of James Herriot, in Thirsk, is holding a spring cleaning display and needs people's help.
The centre wants household goods in their packaging from the Thirties to the Fifties.
The items will go on show alongside the centre's own items and pieces loaned by museums and collectors.
The packaging of brands that are still on sale today is especially wanted for the show.
Irene McNulty, from the museum, said: "We all have our favourite brands, and some will have been the favourites of our parents and grandparents.
"We want to take a peek in the cupboards of the past and see how presentation and marketing has changed."
The exhibition runs at the Kirkgate centre from January 27 to May 5. Entry is £5.
