AN Army recruitment duo in Durham are handing over the reigns after enlisting more than 100 local people into the forces.
Staff Sergeant Julianne Dancey and Sergeant Ian Boyle are being succeeded by Sergeant Sara Lucas and Sergeant Chris Dixon at Durham Army Careers Information Office.
Staff Sergeant Dancey, who joined the Army in 1991, has been promoted to a unit administration officer based at the Defence Medical Services Training Centre in Aldershot.
Sergeant Boyle leaves on promotion to Marne Barracks, in Catterick, where he will work as a troop staff sergeant with the Royal Logistic Corps Transport Regiment.
Both Sgt Lucas and Sgt Dixon enlisted into the Army at the Durham recruitment office.
They now have more than 30 years of service between them.
