A NEW exhibition exploring robots will open this weekend (Saturday, November 23).
Robots, robot parts, film props and collectible toy robots will all be on display in Durham University’s Palace Green Library, in Durham City.
Among the highlights will be Robby the Robot from the film Forbidden Planet and a Kryten costume from the sitcom Red Dwarf.
There will also be books, comics and a history of robots.
The exhibition runs from November 23 to April 27. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm from Tuesday to Sunday and noon to 5pm on Mondays.
Entry costs £4.50 for adults, £3.50 for concessions and children over five and is free for children under five, carers and Durham University campus card holders.
Robot! is the first major exhibition in Palace Green Library since the Lindisfarne Gospels loan this summer.
