DURHAM City MP Roberta Blackman-Woods has named the winner of her Christmas card competition.
Mrs Blackman-Woods met winner Laura Gill at Durham Community Business College.
The competition was open to all A-level, and equivalent, art students, and all year ten and 11 students from schools and colleges in the city of Durham.
Ms Blackman-Woods said: "I received a large number of applicants for my competition. They were all of a very high standard, and I would like to thank everyone who took part in this year's competition.
"It was a great pleasure to meet the girls and present them their prizes, which have been generously donated by a range of local businesses and organisations.
"The Christmas cards were based on the theme of World Peace - Laura's design certainly reflects this. The cards have now been delivered to every household in the city of Durham, as well as to my Parliamentary and constituency contacts.
"I would also like to take this opportunity to once again wish all my constituents a very happy Christmas and New Year."
