THE chairman of the beleagured Scarborough and North East Yorkshire NHS Trust, Richard Grunwell, is leaving.
Mr Grunwell, a solicitor and former Scarborough councillor, has been in the job for four years.
The trust has been dogged by debts and needs to make savings of more than £7m.
An acting chief executive, Iain McInnes, has been appointed following the suspension earlier this year of the post holder, Alison Guy, and finance director Bernard Flynn.
Mr McInnes has produced a report on turning round the cash-strapped trust.
