A SEVEN-year-old who met a pantomime cast after winning a theatre competition described the event as the best day of her life.
Imogen Bristow, from Barnard Castle, County Durham, enjoyed a VIP visit to the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond, on Saturday after answering questions about the theatre's pantomime, Aladdin.
She met the cast before watching the show with her family and being presented with a £75 Christmas hamper from Richmond grocer Ken Warne.
"This is the happiest day of my life," said Imogen, who correctly named five characters who appear in the fairy story.
Her winning entry was drawn from all the correct ones by Judith Clarke, who works at the theatre.
l Aladdin is at the theatre until December 31.
