Martyn Ford
A TEENAGER who stabbed his friend in the back with a kitchen knife has been found guilty of murder.
The jury at the Teesside Crown Court trial of 19-year-old Martyn Ford returned a unanimous guilty verdict at 12.30pm today.
Ford, who killed 23-year-old Michael Gatenby in July after a 12-hour drinking session, will be sentenced early in the New Year.
The pair were flatmates at Brunel Way, Darlington.
