PETS can look forward to a healthier new year after a caravan was donated to an animal charity.
The vehicle was presented to the RSPCA by Catterick Caravans and will be used as a mobile base for advice sessions when free neutering and micro-chipping vouchers will be given to owners.
Mark Gent, an RSPCA inspector based in Middlesbrough, said the second-hand caravan would be a centre point for the charity's community action week in April.
"The RSPCA has set aside some money for work within communities where we feel action is needed," he said.
"We will use the caravan to offer free neutering and free micro-chipping and provide advice to owners.
"The caravan will also be used as a mobile base for our other work throughout the area."
He praised the generosity of the caravan company.
"The charity doesn't have the funds to buy a caravan and for Catterick Caravans to donate one is pretty tremendous," said Mr Gent.
