AN X factor contestant will perform at a North-East charity event this month.
Marcus Collins, who was a runner up in the popular ITV talent contest in 2011, will perform at the Butterwick Hospice Ladies Day at Hardwick Hall Hotel, near Sedgefield, in County Durham on September 22.
The event, which kicks off at noon, will also feature performances by Josh Daniel, a finalist on TFM’s Big Audition, and Elvis Presley impersonator Niall Southall.
Proceeds and fundraising at the event will be donated to the hospice, which is based in Stockton and Bishop Auckland and cares for those with life limiting illnesses.
Tickets cost £30 and include a two-course lunch. To book, call 01642-628930 or visit butterwick.org.uk/ladiesdaysep13
