Youngsters prepare to compete in the Durham Dash
HUNDREDS of children sprinted through historic streets on the Durham Dash tonight (Wednesday, June 5).
Around 500 children from 26 primary schools across County Durham took part in the event, which included races through Durham City and field athletics on Palace Green.
It was organised by the Durham City School Sport Partnership (SSP).
Strategic manager Laura Brown said the event was aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles.
