THREE men escaped serious injury after their van crashed into roadside railings this morning. (Wednesday, June 5)
The men were travelling on the A177 at Tursdale, near West Cornforth, County Durham, shortly after 10am when the Iveco van left the road and collided with a barrier.
Emergency crews, including an ambulance and two fire appliances from Spennymoor, were called to the scene.
Firefighters released one man from the vehicle before he was transported to the University Hospital of North Durham.
A spokesman for Durham police said none of the men are thought to have been badly hurt.
