A man has been taken to hospital with head and hand injuries following a fight involving several men in Victoria Road, Middlesbrough, at 6.40pm tonight (Tuesday, June 4).
The men involved are believed to be aged between 20 and 40.
One local man has been arrested in connection with the incident and police are seeking help to identify the other people involved.
The victim was taken to James Cook University Hospital but his injuries are not thought life threatening.
