A CURATOR at one of the country’s top museums will speak in the region this weekend (Saturday, June 8).
Gill Saunders, senior curator of prints at the Victoria and Albert Museum, in London, will discuss the Recording Britain exhibition at the DLI Museum, in Aykley Heads, Durham City, on Saturday.
The collection of artworks is owned by the V&A Museum and on display in Durham until Sunday, June 30.
The drawings and watercolours were commissioned to record the British landscape at the outbreak of the Second World War.
