A BUSY road was closed for more than four hours after a motorcyclist died.
The incident took place on the Newton Cap Viaduct, Bishop Auckland, at about 1.15pm today (Monday, June 3).
Motorists were diverted while police officers carried out an investigation at the scene.
Witnesses are asked to call Bishop Auckland police on 101.
