HUNDREDS of children will race round a city’s streets later this week (Wednesday, June 5).
Five hundred youngsters from 24 primary schools across County Durham will take part in the Durham Dash 2013.
The race starts in Durham Market Place at 5pm on Wednesday, June 5, and members of the public are invited to cheer on the runners.
There will also be information on healthy lifestyles.
The event is organised by Durham City School Sport Partnership and supported by Durham County Council.
