AN investigation has been launched into the death of a farm worker who fell through a roof.
Jozsef Pinter, of Warlaby, near Northallerton, sustained serious injuries in the incident at a farm in the village and was pronounced dead by paramedics at 5.20pm on Friday (May 31).
It is understood the married 63-year-old Hungarian national spent several months a year working in North Yorkshire.
A police spokesman said it was working with the Health and Safety Executive to establish the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
An inquest is expected to be opened and adjourned later this week.
