LAURA Weightman will make her first Diamond League appearance of the season when she competes in a strong 1,500m field in Eugene tomorrow.
The Morpeth Harrier, who was a finalist at last year's Olympic Games, has made a strong start to the domestic season and posted a new personal best in the 3,000m in last month's Trafford Grand Prix.
She will line up in Portland alongside fellow Briton Hannah England in a top-class contest that also features Russia's Yelena Soboleva and Kenyan Faith Kipyegon.
Mo Farah is the star attraction in the British contingent, and the double Olympic champion will take on former World champion Bernard Lagat and Olympic runner-up Galen Rupp in the 5,000m.
