HEAVY overnight rainfall caused problems for motorists travelling along Saltburn seafront this morning (Thursday).
Vans and cars struggled to pass the road for several hours and bus services were re-routed until the road was made safe.
Cleveland Police sent officers to the scene to assist with the control of the traffic flow.
