POETRY NIGHT: An event celebrating the work of Frida Kahlowith will go ahead in Darlington after organisers used crowd sourcing to fund it. More than £350 was raised by online supporters wanting to back ‘Poems After Frida’, an event organised by local writer Jo Colley that will feature acclaimed French poet Pascale Petit. The evening will take place at 6.30pm on Saturday, July 6 at the Voodoo Café.
