A MAN needed hospital treatment after he was hit with a bottle during an assault in the early hours of the morning.
The incident happened at about 3am last Friday, May 24, in Bar Louis on Kitchener Road, Catterick.
A 19-year-old man from Preston suffered a cut to the back of his head.
He was taken to the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton, where he was treated before being released.
A 21-year-old man from Stafford was arrested on suspicion of wounding and later released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
PC Wendy King said: “This was a nasty incident which left the victim needing treatment in hospital.
“I urge anyone who was in Bar Louis at the time to come forward and contact the police as they may have information that could help my investigation.”
