ACCLAIMED Darlington-born jewellery maker Jessica Flinn has been recognised as one of Yorkshire’s Top Young Entrepreneurs by the Duke of York.
Ms Flinn received her Duke of York Young Entrepreneur Award from Prince Andrew himself who attended the ceremony at the University of Huddersfield.
The 24-year-old, who has her own design studio in Sheffield and launched her jewellery range in 2011, said: “It was an extraordinary day and one that I still can’t believe.
“So much has happened in the past two years and this award proves to me that all the hard work has been worth it.”
The awards are part of The Graduate Entrepreneurship Project, which brings together ten higher education Institutions from Yorkshire and the Humber to focus specifically on enterprise and entrepreneurship.
