AN EGYPTIAN storyteller will bring thrilling stories of Arabian nights to a Durham Cathedral chapel next month (Sunday, June 9).
Cairo-born Chirine al-Ansary, an international storyteller and physical performer, will perform The Thousand and One Nights, also known as the Arabian Nights, in the cathedral’s Galilee Chapel on Sunday, June 9.
The performance will last one hour and afterwards there will be an opportunity to talk to Ms al-Ansary about the show and her work.
Ms al-Ansary has performed across the world and now splits her time between Egypt and France.
