POLICE searching for a missing student are continuing to piece together what happened on the night he disappeared.
Jason Fyles, 19, a Newcastle University student originally from Southport, Merseyside, was last seen at a house on Helmsley Road, Sandyford, Newcastle, at 2.45am on Thursday, May 16, following a night out with friends in the city centre.
Police are studying CCTV footage in the hope of establishing where he went next.
Mr Fyles is 5ft 9ins tall, of very slim build with a pale complexion and short ginger hair. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, grey jumper, beige chino trousers and brown leather shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Northumbria Police on 101.
