A FAMILY fun day is being planned at a county’s record office.
Durham County Record Office, in County Hall, Durham, will hold its fifth annual family fun day on Friday (May 31) from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Visitors will have the chance to write with quills, dress in Tudor costumes and make medieval-style seals.
Children can enter a competition to win a £10 book voucher.
The activities will be suitable for children aged five and up. Entry is free. For more information, call Dawn Layland, an education and outreach archivist with Durham County Council, on 03000-267-626 or email: record.office@durham.gov.uk
