The body of a man thought to be in his mid-20s has been found in a house.
Police are treating the death as unexplained and have arrested five people.
He was found at a house on Gritten Square on Hartlepool’s Central Estate shortly after 9am on Sunday, May 26.
A police spokeswoman said post-mortem was due to be carried out to establish the circumstances of his death.
