A 21-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court accused of sexual offences against a teenage girl.
Shaun Clode, 21, of Glamis Walk, Hartlepool will deny the charges, Teesside magistrates heard today (Monday, May 27).
The court heart Mr Clode is charged with child abduction, grooming and two counts of sexual activity in connection to a 14-year-old girl from Scotland.
Rebecca Brown, defending, said: “These matters are to be denied. My client believes he will be completely exonerated.”
The case will be heard at crown court at a date to be decided. Mr Clode was bailed on condition he stays at his home address, does not contact the girl and does not use the internet.
