BUDDING performers from around the North-East will take part in a youth theatre festival in Darlington on Saturday (June 1).
The North-East Regional Youth Theatre Festival, in partnership with the National Association of Youth Theatres, will be held at Darlington Civic Theatre, from 9.30am to 8pm.
A spokesman for the event said: “The festival is an all-day event for youth theatres from across the North-East region to come together to celebrate and share their performance work, and take part in a programme of exciting workshops led by theatre professionals.
“The day will be jam-packed with opportunities for youth theatre members to learn new skills, meet others and be inspired.”
