Three men have been arrested after a man was attacked with an axe. Armed police and a dog unit were called to a house on Farndale Avenue, in Osbaldwick, on the outskirts of York on Thursday (May 23) after the man was reportedly attacked at a nearby travellers’ site. He suffered serious injury to his arm but his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. Three men, aged 36, 53 and 62 were arrested. Anyone with information should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for York CID.
