STAFF at a Spennymoor care home have brought the 1950s back to life for the enjoyment of their residents.
A celebration of the decade was held at Lothian House in Spennymoor as part of Dementia Awareness Week run by the Alzheimer’s Society.
The home on Clyde Terrace caters for older people some of whom have dementia.
Staff put on a 1950s-style afternoon tea dance with three workers performing a selection of songs from the era.
