A NEW exhibition placing the spotlight on Hinduism opened at a North-East museum today (Friday, May 24).
Hinduism in India, featured at Durham City’s Oriental Museum, uses objects, prints and photographs to focus to tell the story of religious life in India.
The exhibition, which has been put together by Durham University students, includes is the photography of Stephen Huyler, a noted American anthropologist.
The exhibition runs until September 30.
The Oriental Museum is open from 10am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and noon to 5pm at weekends and on bank holidays.
Entry is £1.50 for adults, 75p for children (five to 16) and over-60s, and free for children under five and students.
