A MAN from County Durham is on Crimestopper’s most wanted list after he evaded arrest more than two years ago when police uncovered a cannabis farm.
Jason Puccio is one of almost 700 people on the Crimestoppers' list and police are appealing for information on his whereabouts.
Officers have been hunting for the 41-year-old since they raided a house in Stanhope in Weardale, on March 15 in 2011.
A Crimestoppers spokeswoman said: “Upon executing the warrant a male fled the address and evaded detention.
“Upon searching the property officers discovered a sophisticated cannabis farm.
“Jason Puccio is currently wanted on suspicion of cultivation and production of cannabis.”
It is believed Pucci, who was living in Stanhope at the time, has a network of contacts in the North East, North Yorkshire and possibly the Exeter area.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Durham Police, quoting Crime Ref SB1100349, on 101 extension 661447 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
