WITNESSES are being sought after a woman pedestrian was struck by a car which failed to stop.
The hit-and-run incident happened on Tuesday, May 21, as the 62-year-old victim was crossing Kirby Road in Ripon at about 5.20pm.
She was near Calverts Carpets when she was struck by a black or grey vehicle - but fortunately she was not injured in the collision.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, select option two and ask for Traffic Constable Steve James or Harrogate Roads Policing Group.
