THE line-up has been confirmed for a tribute band pop festival on the banks of the River Wear.
The Fake Festival will take place on August 13 on the Riverside at Chester-le-Street, and will feature acts dedicated to the music of The Killers, Coldplay and Kings of Leon.
The Fillers, Coldplace and Kings of Lyon will take to the stage in a specially-erected marquee with a state-of-the-art sound system.
The festival recently visited Tynemouth, attracting 1,800 people.
Bec Cottrell, licensee of the Chester-le-Street Fake Festival, said: “After the huge success of Tynemouth Fake Festival we’re delighted to bring Fake Festivals to Chester-le-Street.
“We were so delighted with the turn out for Tynemouth earlier this month, and we’re sure that Chester-le-Street will be a great success too."
Early bird tickets will be available until July 3 at www.fakefetsivals.co.uk or from local outlets.
