JEWELLERY and laptops have been stolen from a County Durham house while the owners were away.
Police have released a list of the items stolen from a home in Crook to try and trace the goods.
Burglars broken into the house on Weavers Croft sometime between 9.30pm on Monday, May 13, and 7.47am on Tuesday, May 14, while the occupants were away.
The stolen items included one Dell Inspiron laptop which was purple with a number of purple and green 3D stickers shaped like hearts and stars on the front and a light wooden jeweler box with its contents.
The burglars also took a black and silver Dell Inspiron laptop, earphones for a mobile phone, a single gold earring in the shape of a ball with a number of small diamonds set into it and a matching 16inch gold necklace with golden ball design pendant encrusted with diamonds.
County Durham Police are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the Weavers Court area at the time to contact them on 101.
